With banting being such a trend right now we had to share this recipe for making your own delicious bant-friendly toast!
- +/- 2 Tbsp Psyllium Husk
- 500 – 600g Mixed Pack Seeds (Flax, Pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
- Pinch of Chilli Flakes
- Handful of Salt flakes
- 500ml Water
Mix this all together and let it stand for about 10 minutes. Flatten out on baking paper cut to the size of your baking tray taking care to allow for no spaces.
Bake in the oven at 160 degrees for an hour. (Check if you need to turn them about 30 min in)
Let it cool and enjoy with just about anything! My favorite treat is with some raw peanutbutter from OhMega Nut Butters. This is a very healthy alternative to peanut butters loaded with sugar. Even better they add omega 3, yummy!!
