Ingredients
  • 125ml butter/margarine(125g)
  • 250ml Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2Tbs Milk
  • 1/2tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 1/2cups Cake flour
  • 2tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2tsp Salt
Instructions
  1. Work the butter with a wooden spoon until it is a bit softer and slowly add the sugar to it.
  2. Sieve all the dry ingredients together and add it to the butter mixture.
  3. Mix it all together and let the dough stand for about an hour in a cool place before you roll it out.
  4. Roll the dough out thinly (about 3mm) and cut or press out as you prefer.
  5. Spread the cookies out evenly on a greased baking pan and bake for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown at 190˚C
